Mechanic’s Grip
Method:
The difference between the Mechanic’s Grip and the Dealing Grip is that the Mechanic’s Grip is held more firmly in the hand. The fingers are left exactly the same apart from the first finger which curls around the top of the deck. The thumb is also a bit higher up the deck to support this.
You should practice both the Mechanic’s Grip and the Dealing Grip because you will be using these in all types of card magic.
