H-O-C-U-S-P-O-C-U-S
Effect:
21 cards are dealt onto the table and a spectator is asked to choose one. After a process of dealing the cards, the magician knows exactly what card you chose.
Method:
This trick involves 21 cards.
To begin with find a spectator and a table to do this trick on. Then deal 3 cards down on the table form left to right. Continue this until you have 3 columns of 7 cards. Ask the spectator to remember a card out of one of the columns and to tell you which column it’s in. Then you square the cards up in each column, remembering which column they said their card was in. Then all you do is make sure the column with their card in goes in between the other 2 columns. Then (leaving the cards face up after collecting them) deal 3 cards again from left to right until the 21 cards are all dealt. Ask the spectator which column their card is in this time. Whichever column it is in make sure that column goes in between the other 2 columns. Then repeat this process one more time. Then after collecting the cards, turn the 21 cards face down and deal the cards out, spelling out loud one letter for each card.

Then the next card will be their chosen card.
