Thumb Clip
Effect:
The magician displays a coin in his hand, puts the coin into the opposite hand and then waves over the hand. The coin then vanishes.
Method:
Place a coin in the hand you feel most comfortable with. Then, as you show the other hand empty, close the hand with the coin in and transfer the coin into thumb clip. The coin should be clipped in the crotch of the thumb and first finger. Then you pretend to place the coin into the hand while still holding it in thumb clip. Close the hand without the coin, pretending to hold the coin. Then you can ask the spectator the blow on the hand. While they do this you can be ditching the coin which is in thumb clip into your pocket or anywhere possible. Then you can also make a wave over the coin and then show the spectator or audience that the coin has completely vanished.
